You really have to wonder why people are so surprised that a killer whale in captivity would attack it's trainer!
If you take the animal out of it's natural habitat, there will be consequences. When are we, as human beings, going to learn this? How many people must be attacked and killed, and animals destroyed, before we realize our error? I don't understand it.
These are just animals acting normally...it's we as people that misunderstand that and project our human-ness upon them.
